Sunny beach Date: 12/23/2005 Sunlit Lamai beach is a very calm place on Koh Samui. An hour before the sunset is a very enjoyable period when the hot day starts to cool down but the sun is still up.
Koh Phangan viewpoint Date: 12/21/2005 This viewpoint is 300 feet above the sea level. The path to it is a real jungle walk. Follow the rope and dont slip with the camera. The little blurry bugs in the air on the picture are actually dragonflies. They give more summer feeling to the picture, so I dared not to clone stamp them away in Photoshop.
Sunset at Lamai beach Date: 12/23/2005 The sunset at Lamai beach of Koh Samui island. The pictures that panorama's made of were underexposed by 1 or 1.5 stops with ISO set to 200. When boosting up the signal in RAW converter some noise in shadows appeared.
The beach of National marine park Koh Angthon Date: 12/21/2005 Koh Angthon (Phangan) is a part of the marine reserve. The photo is taken with a super-wide lens and stitched of multirow panoramic layout. The field of view is several times larger than that of a human eye. That is why the tide line is curved although it was straight in the real life.
Surroundings of Big Mama/Papa Date: 12/21/2005 The Big Papa/Mama(Hin Tai/Hin Ya) sightseeing site attracts lots of tourists. The rocks are very smooth yet monumental. Nice place to visit on Koh Samui. The water is quite clear and you can snorkel right by the shore to see the colorful marine life.
A Hot Day Date: 12/23/2005 A hot day in Thailand is not what we people from mid lattitudes tend to think. This 86 F afternoon is actually considered a cool October day here. In the hot season the temperature will rise more than that.
After the rain Date: 12/24/2005 A garden walk in a resort at Lamai Beach of Koh Samui island after the tropical rain. The poring rain showering all night ended early in the morning. Morning light reflected by millions of raindrops filled the air with misty haze.
The sunrize on Lamai beach Date: 12/20/2005 Lamai beach, located on Koh Samui, the isle of 1 000 000 Coconut palm trees is a very hospitable tropical island with many small bays each giving the wanderer rest. This atmosphere is well felt during the morning hours. This panorama was taken around 6-20 am.
Samui Waterfall Date: 12/23/2005 The waterfall lies deep in the jungle up the small local mountains.
Eve at Tropical Pool Date: 12/27/2005 The tropical pool after the sunset. The illumination of the palmtrees and the pool itself gives the place comfortable feeling.
Buddha garden Date: 12/23/2005 The Buddha garden is located in the highest region of Koh Samui. It is very calm, very well looked after and very beautiful. Statues of Buddha and Thai epic personages are plentiful.
Wet Terrace Date: 12/26/2005 Wet terrace of a bungalo at Lamai beach at quater past 8 am. Full size original shows the raindrops on the leaves of the palmtrees.

Buddha garden brook Date: 12/23/2005 This brook runs throught the Buddha garden giving the plants the water and giving the Buddhas the murmur.
